An inside joke turned sour when the FBI showed up. Abaseball cap embroidered with the letters CBC for “corrupt bastards club,” paid for by Veco and distributed to certain legislators, was entered as evidence in the Pett Kott corruption trial. It’s not yet known whether Ben Stevens possessed one of the hats. Hat or no, it appears Ben was a leader of the “club.” Read more here.
